A grizzly here, a black bear there

Mother elk nuzzling her child

Father moose fighting another

The call of an eagle, angry and riled

Butterflies of very color

These animals may seem tough, strong

But they can’t fight what we have done

Snakes curled up, their tongues so long

Never taking a break, always on the run

Will they have to live like this forever?

Running for their life till they die

Not able to rest, ever

I hope not a single reader has a dry eye

And all come together to save the wild

Every last male, female and child
